So with the season feeling like it has ended rather abruptly we went in search of good snow. We obviously had to get the splitboards out
as lift accessed off piste snow was long ruined. The snow up high off the Aiguille du Midi seems to have been pretty wind affected and crusty so we visited our favourite sheltered, north facing spots in the Brevent/Aiguille Rouge area. The snow didn’t disappoint, deep soft powder and lots of untracked lines to choose from, we hit some of the biggest drops of the season just playing around having fun! The beauty of this area is it’s quietness, every track in the pictures is one of ours. The slideshow below has some of my favourite shots from the various days.
