At the Destinations Travel show down in London last week it was announced that my cycle touring adventures had won Wanderlust Magazine’s Travel blog of the year! It is even more exciting that it was decided by volume of traffic meaning that many of you out there are enjoying reading about all our adventures!
To quote what they said about the blog: “Ed’s account of the ups and downs of cycle touring is touching, entertaining, and full of enthusiasm for adventure – so it’s no surprise that it received the most web traffic out of all of this year’s Blog of the Week posts.”

In 2014 it was really exciting to see so many visitors reading We Love Mountains, with well over 20,000 hits in the last six months and growing each month.
I am still deciding what to do and how to take the blog forward in 2015 but in the mean time thanks to everyone for supporting the website I hope it has inspired at least a few of you into some new adventures!
